In the second week of April, 2007, after nearly a year of research and consideration by ACIP, NIH, CDC, AAFP and AAP, a second dose of VZV is to be given 3 months following the first for children over 1 year. If first dose is given over 13 years, then a second dose should be given after 28 days. The latter recommendation is the same. |
